I’m back! LOL It has taken quite a bit for me to juggle the children with my online stuff, but, I’m learning it – again. LOL
I did take a holiday back in the beginning of March. I joined Miss Edna downstate from me in her time-share condo. It was relaxing and nice to get away. It was good to get back home, though. I am so comfortable with my own home, as we all are.
Digital Whisper, the group I was a member of last year, is back up and running again! One of the members has taken it and is giving it a good go! I slipped right back into my old routine of writing tutorials and posting for two different groups. Patti, the new owner, has some wonderful ideas and Kym, another administrator, is the most creative lady I know! In addition to the groups and challenges, we are also working on releasing a regular series of ‘kits’ for scrapping/journaling/art. There will be backgrounds and elements that one may use to create their own art with, based on some theme or another. The collection can be used for a myriad of applications, from ATC’s to Digital Art to art-journaling. It can be used for scrapbooking as well.
There is a membership fee of $25.00. This is for Ning fees, nothing more. As Ning is rather expensive, we will be selling the kits and there are plans for some special projects – calendars, books, magazines, etc.

By offering an assortment of tutorials and concepts, we learn different ways of self-expression – in digital. Photo-manipulations, collages, and artwork are the most common types we see. From Photoshop ‘how-to’s’ to studies on individual artists, there is an emphasis on stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Encouragement is rampant! LOL The support from other members is what has helped many budding artists.
My role is a busy one, but, I had all but gotten away from my art until DW re-opened.
Alrighty! I’m going to get down to business here and save the links and tuts for another day. I have been working on scheduling my creative time and ‘business’ time AND the children, too. They are top priority! They’ve gone too long without proper attention, so, this is real important to me. I can get a lot done during the day, but, after that, I have to wait until the children are in bed. This is accomplished daily by a gazillion families, me included – 30 years ago! LOL I am seriously having to re-learn.
Miss Edna and I are releasing a brand new kit to you this month. ”Spring is in the Air” is a brightly colored kit that is fun and pretty. In case we are new to you, we release a kit each month. We give away two(2) parts per week, starting with the second Monday of the month. We give away parts for three(3) weeks, for a total of six(6) parts each or twelve(12) parts total! The first two(2) parts are Quick Pages, then, the remaining four(4) are papers and elements so you may create your own layouts.
